Irish Dance Music/Dances

Irish dances preform in two different types of shoes. Soft  shoes are similar to a ballet slipper, but they are black with long laces. Hardshoes are similar to a tap shoe with tips made of fiberglass.

In softshoes, we mainly dance to a Reel or a Slip Jig. Below they are linked so you can listen.

In hardshoes, we mainly dance to a Hornpipe or a Treble Jig. Below they are linked  so you can listen.
